Led by the ECD patron H.E. Rosella Rasanga, First Lady Siaya, we visited the residents of North Gem ward at Malanga Health Centre with the package of nurturing care for Early Childhood Development.
The team encouraged the attendees to have be having moral principles, performing their job in the correct manner and trying to do what is right.
This will foster best character in young ones.
Good Nurturing practices support, encourage, care and protect a child for optimal growth, it’s an obligation of each person.
“Let’s be responsive care givers to our children so that when they grow up, we shall be proud of clever children who shall replace us in our absence, we shall have valued professions in our county Siaya,” highlighted the First lady.
A good number of residents came out for the sensitization meeting.
The area MCA Hon Nick Ochola, Dr.Tindi -Gem Sub-County MOH, Mr Kiboswa-the Gem Sub-County Focal person and representatives from the National Government , were among the present personalities.
Each person agreed to join and support the move for the county of nurturing care excellence.
