Sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) refers to any act that is perpetrated against a person’s will;it has become the main cause for teen pregnancies.
This is why we took part in the Siaya County Inter Governmental Gender Sector Working Group sensitization forum in view of the current increasing numbers of SGBV cases
The forum aimed at unpacking the service portfolios available to survivors of SGBV & strengthen collaboration, prevention and response structures in the community.
When this is solved,our desire for every child to be nurtured to thrive to full potential shall be realized.
We agreed in one voice to work in harmony to mitigate this ravaging threat and in ensuring timely justice for the victims as we envision a safe society for all.
